Why Anora

The skill is the product. The paper is the record.

If you want a stamp, there are faster places. If you want to be safe, useful and calm on a spa floor, a salon chair or a recovery bench, this is how we teach.

Hands on the work

Most of the day is practice — on a table, a salon chair or a recovery bench. Theory exists to make your hands safer, not to fill a workbook.

Anatomy before flourish

You learn the body first. Fancy sequences come after you can find a muscle, hold a stance, and keep a client comfortable.

A real practical, not a quiz

You pass by treating a person well, on time, with clean hygiene. Written work supports that. It does not replace it — whether the setting is a spa, a salon or a sports bench.

Conduct is part of the skill

Draping, consent, language and boundaries are taught as technique. A good therapist is safe to be alone in a room with.

Honest credentials

We will not dress a skills certificate up as a government licence. Completing Anora means you completed Anora.

Career, not a stamp

The aim is that you can work. Confidence, timing and client care matter more here than a framed slogan.

The difference

What we refuse to copy

Common

A packed hall and a slide deck.

Anora

A small room of tables and a trainer who can reach every pair of hands.

Common

A certificate on day five.

Anora

A live practical at the end of a programme measured in weeks, not afternoons.

Common

“Government recognised” in large type.

Anora

An Anora certificate that says exactly what it is — and a page where anyone can check the ID.

Common

Job guarantees in the brochure.

Anora

Career preparation, spa-floor habits, and an honest line: employers decide.

A day on the floor

What the hours actually look like

We will not invent a clock-by-clock timetable that changes by city. This is the rhythm every campus keeps.

Arrive ready to work

Clean nails, clothes you can move in, phones away. The room is set like a small spa, salon or recovery floor — not a lecture hall.

A short brief, then a demonstration

Mornings cover the body, skin or sport science you need that day. A trainer shows the sequence on a live model before you try it.

Most of the day is practice

You work on classmates and booked models. A trainer moves between tables, chairs or benches and stops you when pressure, draping or makeup is off.

Notes, hygiene, reset

You finish the way a floor finishes: linen, tools, a brief note, and language you would actually use with a guest.

Conduct

Safety is part of the skill.

Draping and privacy

Students learn how to cover a body so only the area being treated is uncovered. Beautician and sports rooms follow the same respect for the person in the chair or on the bench.

Consent before contact

A brief happens before hands or products. Students practise asking, listening, and stopping when something is not appropriate.

Hygiene is non-negotiable

Linen, tools, oils and stations are reset between people. A messy station fails the practical, even if the sequence was pretty.

Clear limits

We teach red flags and when to refer. Massage is not physiotherapy. Makeup is not dermatology. Sports recovery is not a diagnosis. Yoga is not a medical class. Nutrition briefing is not dietetics.
