Career programme

Sports Massage Therapy

You learn to work with active bodies: warm-up, recovery, tightness, and when to stop and refer. Assessed on a live practical, not a poster of muscles.

6 weeks
Jaipur, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore
Starts 15th of every month

Curriculum

  • Module 1: The sporting body

Joints, common tightness, and how to take a brief without diagnosing injury.

  • Module 2: Event work

Short pre-event and post-event sequences, timing, and working in a noisy venue.

  • Module 3: Maintenance

Deeper table work for training weeks, with caution around inflammation and pain.

  • Module 4: Practical & limits

A live practical plus a spoken brief: what you did, what you did not do, and when you would refer.

Who this is for

Foundation or professional massage graduates, gym and club staff, and people who want a first role in sports recovery — not a medical qualification.

What you should leave with

  • Deliver a 30-minute pre-event and a 60-minute recovery session
  • Choose pressure that fits the athlete’s next session
  • Speak in recovery language, not medical claims

How you are assessed

You are assessed on a live practical: a complete, timed treatment, look, class or consult, with hygiene, briefing and aftercare. The certificate is issued only if you pass. It records the Anora programme you completed. It is not a government licence.

What the fee covers

  • Trainer-led, offline teaching for the listed duration
  • Supervised practice on classmates and live models
  • A live practical assessment
  • An Anora certificate with a public ID if you pass

Uniform, kit and station details, plus any instalment plan, are confirmed after a seat is offered. Travel, stay, meals and a job are not included.
