Specialized
Event & Club Recovery
You learn to work when there is no quiet spa hour. Pre-event, half-time, post-event, and how to brief a coach without diagnosing injury.
Curriculum
Module 1: The clock
What you can usefully do in 8, 15 and 30 minutes, and what you must leave alone.
Module 2: The venue
Tables in corridors, cold rooms, kit bags, and how to stay clean when the floor is not a spa.
Module 3: Tape & stretch
Awareness of common taping and stretch assists — with a hard stop at anything that belongs to a physiotherapist.
Module 4: Event practical
A live practical on an active model plus a spoken brief to a ‘coach’: what you did, what you did not do.
Who this is for
Sports-massage graduates, gym and club staff, and therapists adding sideline work. Not a first course for complete beginners, and not a physiotherapy qualification.
What you should leave with
- Run a 15-minute pre-event and a 20-minute post-event session
- Set up a recovery chair in a non-spa space
- Speak to an athlete or coach without diagnosing
How you are assessed
You are assessed on a live practical: a complete, timed treatment, look, class or consult, with hygiene, briefing and aftercare. The certificate is issued only if you pass. It records the Anora programme you completed. It is not a government licence.
What the fee covers
- Trainer-led, offline teaching for the listed duration
- Supervised practice on classmates and live models
- A live practical assessment
- An Anora certificate with a public ID if you pass
Uniform, kit and station details, plus any instalment plan, are confirmed after a seat is offered. Travel, stay, meals and a job are not included.
